Nothing quite like some good news on a Friday afternoon when work is going by sloooowly: Just found out that we (being the also-rans) will be playing with True Love Always at the Middle East on March 26th. They’re a longtime Teenbeat band with some good songs and more than a few fans (including me). Joining us will be our friends Carrigan, from up Vermont way. An almost guaranteed good night.
Awhile back I posted a bunch of links but didn’t have time to elaborate on any of ’em. Shame on me. So I’m going to put them here and do so. They’re worth checking out (well, most of them are, anyway).

Mike Oeming online
This incredible graphic artist draws Powers, one of my favorites comics. But wait! There’s more! Check out Bastard Samurai and Hammer of the Gods. Nice looking stuff.
Craig’s Place… Summer at Shatter Creek
Craig Gurwich is a musical madman and a fine gentleman. I miss him. *sniff*

Website Defacement Archives
Very interesting statistics of the most commonly hacked operating systems and websites. There’s also lots of other IT Security related info. Update: Looks like they’ve shut down, but will return in some form or another in March. Hope so.

Paul Taylor sits atop his throne in Boston’s City Hall, working the ethernet cables like puppet-strings on our City politicians. The man behind the curtain. MaxieZeus.

It was bound to happen, wasn’t it? But she was only one item over! I mean, come on! You should be at least three or four over before you get a beating. Take it easy there!
